Youth of Old Age Project

Through my entire life I did not like the way I looked. I was never part of a popular crowd and always thought I am not attractive or smart enough. This year I am turning fifty. Victor Hugo said that fifty is the youth of old age. So I decided to photograph myself to see from the outside who am I? How do I look? How do I make myself feel and think? I was both afraid and eager to do it. Afraid that I would not be comfortable with what I discover and eager because at some poit you have to face your fears and insecurities to overcome them. It started me on an interesting adventure of getting to know myself a little better.
